Mohamed Salah’s new membership ‘confirmed’ as Liverpool icon to greet followers at airport tomorrow
Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah is edging closer to his next move after leaving Anfield this summer with his future club telling its fans to go greet the star at the airport

Ex-Liverpool player Mohamed Salah is set to complete his shock next move after leaving the Premier League giants as his future team told fans to go greet him at the airport tomorrow (August 5).
Salah looks even closer to joining Turkish side Trabzonspor after the club confirmed transfer negotiations are underway in a statement published this evening. Although Salah has not officially signed, the club seem confident they will secure the former Liverpool forward’s signature.
It comes after reports earlier in the transfer window suggested Salah would move to the Turkish league, but reports said it would more likely be with Besiktas.

Trabzonspor posted a series of messages about Salah this evening to get their fans excited about their future major signing.
First they posted a short video showing a pyramid teasing the Egyptian superstar before issuing a statement on X.
In a short statement, the club said: “Negotiations have begun regarding the transfer of professional footballer Mohamed Salah to our Club.”

In a another post to fans on X, Trabzonspor posted to their “great” fans and told them that Salah would be arriving in the country tomorrow. The club even gave details the airport he will be arriving at and when tomorrow.
The post said: “Professional footballer Mohamed Salah, with whom we have begun transfer negotiations, will be at Istanbul Atatürk Airport General Aviation Terminal at 12:00pm on Wednesday, August 5 (tomorrow).
“The player is scheduled to arrive in Trabzon on the same day in the evening hours.
“The time and other details regarding the welcome program in Trabzon will be shared with the public through our club’s official communication channels during the day.”
