England star Ivan Toney charged by cops after ‘headbutt’ at Soho nightclub
England and Al-Ahli star Ivan Toney has been charged with assault following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police following an incident at a London nightclub last year
England footballer Ivan Toney, 30, has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm over an incident at a nightclub in Soho, London.
The Metropolitan Police say the charge is in relation to an incident back in December 2025. Toney was charged by police last month on July 31.
Toney, who currently plays in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Ahli, will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in relation to the charge on September 24.
In a statement, the Met Police said: “A man has been charged with assault following a Met investigation. Ivan Toney, 30, of Northampton, was charged on Thursday, 31 July with assault causing actual bodily harm.
He will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 24 September. The charge relates to an assault, which reportedly took place on 6 December 2025 at a nightclub on Wardour Street, W1.”
