All the mad locations Andy Burnham should go to on UK tour – from Nessie searching to cheese chasing

Prime Minister Andy Burnham is hitting the road this week for a massive nationwide tour aimed at proving he’s a true man of the people. Downing Street insiders say the new PM wants to give Brits some vital “breathing space” during the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, promising a raft of measures to stop consumers getting ripped off.

As part of his grand “10-year plan to bring back hope”, Andy will be kicking off in listening mode. While official aides are plotting visits to industrial heartlands like Port Talbot, where the final blast furnace was shut down in 2024, we reckon boring town halls and stiff ribbon-cutting ceremonies won’t cut it.

If the Prime Minister truly wants to show he understands everyday life, he needs an itinerary with a bit of real British graft, grit and chaos.

Here at the Daily Star, we’ve put together an unofficial wish list of the ten places the PM must visit if he wants to win over the country.
