Brave cops break silence on UFO sightings as inspector warns we reside in ‘human zoo’
Humanity is living in a cosmic “human zoo” while advanced alien spacecraft spy on us from above, a veteran police inspector has warned. Serving West Midlands Police officer Roy Teague, 51, has cracked open a vault of “out of this world” secrets after gathering accounts from more than 250 fellow officers across the UK.
The former firearms officer from Wolverhampton, who has given almost 27 years of service and now runs a 999 response team, says brave cops have kept silent for decades due to the fear of ridicule from their colleagues.
Insp Teague said: “There’s loads of stigma about coming forward. I’ve had a lot of banter and a lot of ribbing, which is really funny.

“But I sadly think there are some people in the police who now regard me less seriously, purely because of the release of the book and my interests. It’s a shame really.”
In his new book Close Encounters of the Police Kind, Insp Teague has now pulled back the curtain on 75 of the most baffling, but also high-credible, UFO cases ever recorded by British law enforcement.
And the experienced lawman believes extraterrestrials are treating our planet like a glorified nature reserve.

Insp Teague said: “There is a hypothesis called the zoo hypothesis where they just watch and they don’t interfere.
“We don’t realise it, but we are very lucky living on a planet which is 70 per cent water. It’s an oasis…I think that they’re interested in the planet.”
Among the book’s most spine-chilling accounts is a jaw-dropping encounter from July 1997, where two police helicopter pilots were left stunned by a metallic, dart-shaped craft hovering 1,000 feet above the MI6 building in London.

Looking through thermal cameras, the pilots watched as the object’s rear suddenly became very heated before it darted sideways and shot into what they described as a “hole that opened in the sky.”
Insp Teague said: “That is a really intriguing account. The officers didn’t say anything about it to any senior officers because, 18 years before, one of their colleagues had been involved in a helicopter chase of a barrel-shaped UFO. When he reported it, he was ridiculed for 18 years, and these guys didn’t want that.”
Far from taking every outlandish tale at face value, Insp Teague grilled each witness in a manner typical of his profession, systematically debunking earthly explanations like drones, lasers and Chinese lanterns before letting any case make the final cut.

His anthology also details a startling 2010 incident in Birmingham, where a J-shaped UFO was witnessed by two police officers and 30 people in the street simultaneously.
His database includes previously untold cases of missing time and abductions involving officers. While he has never witnessed a UFO himself, Insp Teague remains convinced that the truth is out there.
He said: “Do you really expect me to believe that all of the 250 officers I’ve interviewed and all the hundreds of thousands of people around the planet who’ve seen and reported UFOs are either all wrong or lying?
“I don’t think they are and I only need one of those cases to be true for the case to be made out that UFOs exist.”
