A Meghan Markle ally has issued a stark three-word warning about returning to the UK with Prince Harry. On Wednesday (August 26), the Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down in Britain with their young children, Archie and Lilibet, to embark on a fresh chapter after stepping away from royal duties and relocating to Montecito, California, in 2020.
It’s understood Harry and Meghan landed via private jet in Birmingham shortly before midday and will now commence a new life in the UK as non-working royals, though the decision has sparked considerable debate.
The Sussexes’ security arrangements have prompted widespread discussion across the UK since it came to light, yet their provisions remain unclear. Harry failed in a legal challenge regarding the protection level he and his family were entitled to during UK visits in 2025.

Uncertainties persist about what lies ahead for the pair, who attempted to rebrand themselves as private citizens in America. However, one Meghan advocate believes the return to the UK could prove catastrophic.
Ugly Betty star Fumi Desalu-Vold declared in an online video: “Meghan, you haven’t even arrived and look at the chaos. For your mental health, emotional health and physical health, I would reconsider.”
There’s speculation that the family might relocate to a property in the Cotswolds, with Archie and Lilibet reportedly already enrolled at an unnamed school for the September term.
A spokesperson for the Sussexes has verified that their dogs, Mia and Pula, will accompany them to the UK, though their chickens will stay behind in America.
King Charles is said to have only discovered the development this month, despite the Sussexes calling on him and Queen Camilla at Highgrove back in July, with Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, also being informed of their plans.

This follows an American royal commentator’s explanation of how Harry and Meghan might potentially address a looming challenge for the monarchy.
John McDermott, Caloroga Shark Media co-founder and creator of the “Palace Intrigue” podcast, claimed to the Express that we’re approaching an era of “duelling courts”.
He remarked: “We are going to enter an interesting period of duelling courts. Harry is quite capable of championing the causes important to him without help from The Firm, as we have seen over the past few years.
“To me, the interesting piece is that Harry and Meghan could potentially help solve the future problem of there simply not being enough working royals, something that could become more apparent during William’s reign.
“If the brothers can patch things up, and the anniversary of Diana’s death next year seems like one possible opportunity, Harry and Meghan could be major assets to the Crown. But in the short term, I do not anticipate a return to royal duties.”
