Couple arrested for ‘daytime intercourse’ on seaside arrested after cop swims over and stops romp
A couple, both in their fifties, have been arrested after allegedly having sex in front of a beach full of shocked bathers, including children – with the pair reportedly being stopped by a swimming cop

A couple in their fifties have been arrested for having sex – in full view of a busy beach. The seaside rompers, aged 53 and 51, only stopped when confronted by a cop who swam over to break up the tryst.
They responded to the cop’s request by claiming that “it was just a couple of kisses”, and that they “didn’t think everyone would see them.”
The pair are accused of copping off on top of a cliff that overlooks the Italian beach of Imperia at prime sunbathing time of 11am on Sunday. Local media reports the beach was full of sunseekers, including young children.

Multiple people also reportedly called the police to complain about the alleged beach bonking, with a cop car arriving shortly after. Despite their protestations, the pair were arrested at the scene and taken to the local police station.
Both have now been charged with exposure in a public place, which, given the presence of minors, carries a prison sentence of between four months and four years and six months if you are found guilty.
The incident is not the first coastal coitus to make the news in recent months, with a French couple also landing themselves in hot water for the same alleged crime.

The pair, named by officers as Halan, 24, and Nadia, 24, were reportedly seen romping on the sand at Rayee Beach on the holiday island of Phuket on April 10.
Footage appears to shows the naked Parisian woman on top of her partner as they moved vigorously in full view of several stunned passers-by.
Shocked locals said the pair showed no regard for other visitors, claiming they were moaning loudly enough to be heard across the beach during the brazen public sex act.

They both reportedly admitted it was them in the video, and they were fined 5,000 baht (£115) each for ‘committing an indecent act in public by being naked or exposing the body, or committing other obscene acts’.
