Son ‘beat his bare mom to loss of life for over an hour’ as cops say she ‘went by means of hell’
A 29-year-old man has been accused of beating his mother to death in a harrowing alleged assault which lasted over an hour, police have stated the woman ‘went through hell’ before she lost her life

An alleged murder “put his mother through hell” as he beat her to death for over an hour outside their family home, police say. Christin Hamilton was found by her daughter beaten and naked outside her home on Sunday morning in Sewickley Township, Pennsylvania.
Her son Jakob Korber, 29, was dramatically arrested in front of tv news crews as footage showed him surrendering to cops later that day. The brutal beating was captured on security camera footage at the house, police said.
Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Steve Limani said: “I can only imagine what she had to go through to find her mother in the state that she was found. It’s a horrific thing for what the victim had to go through, and it’s disgusting to watch.”

Footage shows Christin was wearing just a towel at the time of the assault, which happened at around 9am. He said Korber confronted her and, ripped her towel off her naked body and started to attack her.
Mr Limani added: “It’s just a disgusting, vile act that he committed against his mother that lasted for a long, sustained period of time where she pled for her life and he at no point in time showed any mercy.
“She went through hell for over an hour, and it was at the hands of her son.”

The police officer stated neither neighbours or Hamilton’s daughter heard any screams for help during the hour-long alleged assault.
Following the incident Limani stated Korber changed his clothes and left the scene to sleep in a nearby field. Korber’s sister later found their mother’s body.
The 29-year-old man was later arrested at around 5pm on the same day as the horrific attack. Korber’s arrest was captured by KDKA as the man was met with police on the same road as the fatal incident.

Officers have stated during an interview Korber said if his mother was dead – he was the one responsible for it. Mr Limani said: “I would say that there is a small part of remorse being conveyed during the subsequent interview.”
He added: “But it lasted for over an hour. At some point in time, you could have stopped. And that’s not what happened.”
Jakob Korber has been charged with criminal homicide in relation to the fatal attack. He’s currently being held at the Westmoreland County Prison without bail. He has a preliminary hearing set for September 14.
