Meghan Markle set to shun UK public for weeks as she’s ‘completely targeted’ on one factor
Meghan Markle has not been seen in public since her return to the UK with Prince Harry and their children Archie and Lilibet, and sources say it could be several weeks before she makes a public appearance as she focuses on getting the kids settled

Meghan Markle could remain away from public engagements for weeks as she concentrates on helping her children adapt to their fresh start in Britain. The Duchess of Sussex is reportedly making Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, her top priority as they settle into their new schools and residence following the family’s relocation back to the UK.
Meghan has maintained a discreet presence, including during her brief return in July, and since officially coming back she has yet to make any public appearances in Britain. Before the relocation, she hadn’t been spotted in the UK since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral four years ago.
It may now be several weeks before Meghan resurfaces for public engagements, even as Prince Harry prepares to re-emerge into the limelight with a series of appearances across the UK.

A source told the Sun: “There are a lot of things to arrange. Meghan is totally focused on getting the kids settled for now.”, reports the Mirror.
The Duke of Sussex is anticipated to attend the annual WellChild Awards later this month as he expands his charitable activities in Britain. There are also further reports suggesting he might undertake a skydive for military charities after pledging to 102 year old veteran Ed Marshall during a visit to Toronto, Canada, last November.
One occasion the Sussexes will not attend jointly is an forthcoming gala for the Diana Award in London. Reports indicated Harry and Meghan might appear at a dinner at Raffles London at The OWO, in Whitehall, on September 18, but their spokesperson has dismissed the claim.
Harry and Meghan’s spokesperson told the Mirror: “Despite the Daily Mail’s reporting to the contrary, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not scheduled to attend a Diana Award event at Raffles Hotel, OWO London, on 18 September.”
Meghan had previously been anticipated to accompany Harry at two events following their return to Britain but ultimately didn’t show up at either.
Nevertheless, the family have enjoyed travelling together since their relocation, with Meghan posting snaps from a trip to Althorp, the Spencer family’s Northamptonshire estate and Princess Diana’s childhood residence. They have also journeyed to the Scottish Highlands as Archie and Lilibet start settling into life on this side of the Atlantic.
While Meghan’s immediate focus is believed to be on her family, she may also have acting opportunities ahead. She continues discussions regarding a possible part in The Gentlemen, with the popular series anticipated to commence filming its third season shortly.
The Sussexes’ homecoming is also believed to provide Harry with greater chances to focus on his charitable endeavours in the UK, with the duke set to undertake several engagements in the forthcoming weeks.
