Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has reportedly been seen at an upmarket Cotswolds private members’ club after she returned to the UK with Prince Harry.

The pair moved back from Montecito to the Britain towards the end of last month, and have registered their children Archie, seven, and Lilibet five, at schools in Oxfordshire. The Sussexes have not been seen publicly since their return.

However, Meghan has now allegedly been sighted at Soho Farmhouse, the ultra-exclusive countryside branch of Soho House favoured by celebrities.

The Guardian reports workers at the Great Tew establishment said they have witnessed Meghan enjoying coffee. There was ‘fanfare’ as she savoured a morning beverage at the Comfy Farm Lounge, according to Tom Sykes from The Royalist.

Meghan is believed to be friendly with Soho House’s executive Markus Anderson and utilised its original venue as ‘her headquarters whenever she came to London’, Prince Harry revealed in his memoir.

Soho House, boasting 46 locations globally, is popular amongst stars with high membership costs keeping most of the general public out, alongside stringent no photography policies maintaining privacy. Soho Farmhouse is understood to be a favourite of Cotswolds residents David and Victoria Beckham and Paul McCartney and his daughter Stella.

Reports of Harry and Meghan’s public sighting in Oxfordshire emerge as King Charles confirmed the duo remain ‘separate’ from the Royal family. In a letter to Government officials, the military and Lord Lieutenancies, he stated: “It is well known that in January 2020 the Duke and Duchess stepped down from undertaking representative duties on behalf of The Sovereign, and are no longer working Members of The Royal Family.

“This position, distinct from the State and Royal duties undertaken by the working Royal Family, and with the personal latitude it brings the couple in respect of financial independence and protection of their privacy as they would wish, will continue to be fully respected.

“It follows that there is no change to the current status of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
