Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are back on British soil – and a source has laid bare exactly how the couple feel about returning to the UK. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex ditched sunny California to move back across the Atlantic in late August.
As they settle into countryside living and get their kids into a local school, those close to the pair have given an insider verdict. The source, as reported by the Telegraph, confirmed their true feelings about the massive move, saying: “They are happy to be back.”
The declaration comes after Meghan offered fans a rare peek into their new countryside setup.

Taking to Instagram, the Duchess posted a heartwarming video montage capturing the British autumn vibe, complete with roaring log fires, raincoats, muddy puddles and wellies.
In the clips, the Sussexes can be seen strolling through lush woodland before Meghan turns to the camera, calling out: “Come on you, come on.”
The wholesome family updates kept coming throughout the video as five-year-old Princess Lilibet was spotted riding a bike with pink-tasselled stabilisers and a doll perched on the back.

Seven-year-old Prince Archie was caught on camera saying “I got this” in a clear American accent while out on a small rowing boat as Harry set up a fishing rod.
Archie was also seen sprinting toward a herd of deer before Harry yelled out “Archie!”, while their pet Labrador Pula bounded down woodland tracks.
One of the kids hummed by the fire to warm their feet, while someone joyfully splashed around in wellies to the tune of Wham!’s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.
Meghan capped off the video post with a Union Jack flag and a heart emoji side-by-side, leaving no doubt about how much they are embracing life in Britain.
However, their return hasn’t been entirely smooth. Tensions with Buckingham Palace reportedly flared up after a letter from the King warned official and military figures that the couple are strictly “private citizens” who do not represent the monarchy.
The Sussexes admitted the letter took them by surprise after getting just one hour’s warning, revealing they would have liked to make clarifications.
The fallout deepened when Uganda pulled out of Harry’s Invictus Games two days later citing the “Harry and Meghan nonsense,” with sources branding the drop-out a “direct result” of the Palace memo.
Despite the royal friction, Harry is set to launch a series of public engagements later this week, with Meghan expected to join him at an upcoming event.
