Presley Gerber ‘died from suspected overdose’ in LA rehab the place star spent his closing days
Cops were called to the $7.7 million facility in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday morning after the 27-year-old was found unresponsive, but tragically could not save his life

Cindy Crawford’s son Presley Gerber died of a suspected overdose while in recovery at a rehab centre, it was claimed. Cops were called to the $7.7 million facility in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday morning after the 27-year-old was found unresponsive.
Presley was living with several other people at a rehab facility when he died. Emergency crews rushed to the the addiction treatment facility, where they tried in vain to save his life for three hours, police sources told US media outlets.
Presley, the only son of supermodel Cindy and businessman Rande Gerber, previously told of his battles with mental health and substance abuse.

Sources told US news site TMZ last night Presley’s family has been told his death was the result of an apparent overdose. Meanwhile, a source tod the US Sun that no foul play is suspected and Gerber’s death is “currently being investigated as an overdose.”
And chilling 911 dispatch audio mentions “cardiac arrest” and “overdose” when referring to the incident, US celeb news site Page Six reported.
Presley had been staying in a separate house on the grounds of the LA area rehab facility. The Medical Examiner has not determined the official cause of death yet.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner released a statement saying: “The investigation is still ongoing and there is limited information available.
“Death was pronounced at 09:45 hours on September 20, 2026, by responding paramedics. The Santa Monica Police Department is the investigating law enforcement agency.”
Presley was a model like his mum and sister Kaia, 25, and made his catwalk debut for Italian label Moschino aged 16. In 2023, he opened up about his issues and desire to help others.

He said: “Having struggled with mental health, depression and some other things that come along with that, I think whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that’s all I need to do.”
In March, he posted a video of himself at a wellness retreat with the caption: “Pre Ibogaine Flood Dose – quiet moment before everything changed.” Ibogaine is a psychoactive compound which is being studied as a treatment for depression and substance abuse.
At the time of his death, he was living with several people in a sober house on the grounds of the center in the LA area. A source told Page Six he had checked himself into a Santa Monica rehab “this weekend” as “he knew he needed help.”
Socialite Paris Hilton wrote on Instagram: “Presley, you were such a beautiful soul.” Cindy’s spokesman said: “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”
