It remains the burning question after Manchester City’s guilty verdict in their case against the Premier League – what will be the punishment and, more importantly, could City be stripped of any titles.

City – who continue to deny any wrongdoing and say they will appeal against the verdict of guilty on 114 out of 115 charges of alleged financial breaches – emerged as English football’s most dominant force during the 2010s. But should they be stripped of their titles, as many as eight trophies could be changed in the history books, including the one that started it all.
