A man who reportedly confessed to having sex with his own mother over the course of several years has dodged jail time after telling cops he got “tired” of the incestuous flings. Shane Clemens, 22, from Florida, US, will not face criminal charges despite making the shocking admission to local law enforcement, according to court documents.
Police swooped on the Lakeland mobile home Shane shares with his mum, Christina Clemens, 46, and her husband Terry last month following reports of a row.
During police questioning, the 22-year-old claimed to officers that he “was tired of having sexual intercourse with his mother.”

He went on to give officers a graphic breakdown of their alleged forbidden relationship, an arrest affidavit revealed.
In a recorded interview with officers, 46-year-old Christina reportedly confessed that she “engaged in penile/vaginal penetration” with her son “on at least one hundred separate occasions.”
Cops noted the alleged encounters took place in secret whenever the house was empty or while “everyone is asleep.”

Both were initially arrested, but prosecutors have now decided to pull the plug on proceedings against the son, reports The Smoking Gun.
Jail records list the disposition of Shane’s case as “no billed,” confirming state attorneys have formally decided against pursuing criminal charges.
He was released from the Polk County jail on September 17.
However, his mother remains behind bars on a $5,000 bond ahead of her court appearance on October 6.
Prosecutors filed a felony information charging Christina with third-degree felony incest, alleging she “did unlawfully have sexual intercourse” with her son between September 2023 and August 2026.
If convicted, she faces up to five years behind bars, hefty fines, and potential placement on Florida’s sex offender registry.
