Body discovered on UK seaside as 999 crews swarm space to analyze horror discovery

Emergency services rushed to a UK beach after a body was discovered on Saturday morning. Search and rescue teams searched the area on Eastbourne beach after a welfare concern was reported on Friday afternoon.
An RNLI helicopter helped with the search at around 3.30pm yesterday. Witnesses reported that the person was wearing a wetsuit when their body was discovered. Sussex Police confirmed a body was found on the beach.
A spokesperson for the RNLI said: “Solent Coastguard requested our volunteer crew to assist with a multi-agency search after unattended items had been located towards the west of Eastbourne, reports the Sun. “The ILB carried out a shoreline search alongside local Coastguard Rescue Teams, the coastguard helicopter ‘Rescue 363’ and Sussex Police officers.”
Multiple police vehicles have been spotted in the area as investigations continue into the tragic death.
