GDK launches bonkers new rooster nuggets – however there’s a saucy twist

German Doner Kebab has launched its first-ever chicken nuggets and they come with a seriously tempting twist. The kebab chain has given the humble nugget a GDK makeover with its brand-new Doner Seasoned Chicken Nuggets, made from 100% chicken breast and covered in the signature seasoning used on its famous kebabs.

And there’s no need to splash out, with the new nuggets starting from just £2.99 as part of the chain’s Fiver menu. The new snack is available nationwide and comes with a German curry ketchup dip, giving nugget fans something a little different to dunk into.

There are three options to choose from, depending on how hungry you are.

Customers can grab four Doner Seasoned Chicken Nuggets with one dip for £2.99, eight nuggets with two dips for £5, or go all out with 20 nuggets and four dips for £11.99.

And if that still isn’t enough, four nuggets can also be added as a side to any GDK order.

The launch is the latest addition to GDK’s Fiver offering, which aims to give customers big portions and plenty of flavour without breaking the bank.

It also comes as freshers week gets under way at universities across the UK, meaning the nuggets could prove handy for students looking for a quick bite between lectures or a late-night snack with mates.

GDK says the new creation is designed to combine the familiar comfort of chicken nuggets with the distinctive flavour of its doner seasoning.
