Keely Hodgkinson dubbed the brand new ‘Queen of Queens’ as Team GB star stuns in New York
Keely Hodgkinson has stunned her fans once again with a series of photos direct from New York City
British track icon Keely Hodgkinson has been crowned the new ‘Queen of Queens’ by fans as she lives it up in New York City. Taking to Instagram, the 24-year-old posted a series of photos, complete with the caption: “I’ll do the everything bagel please”, referencing the much-loved New York delicacy.
The comments were flooded with fans praising the Olympic star. As well as dubbing her the ‘Queen of Queens’, making reference to the New York borough, another fan said: “America looks good on youuuuuu,” while a third added: “You look amazing Keely, hope you’re having a lovely time.”
Judging by her array of photos, the Team GB star is clearly enjoying her downtime in the Big Apple. Hodgkinson wrapped up her 2026 campaign in stunning style as she claimed a thrilling victory in the Athlos 800m in London, all while wearing a jaw-dropping new Catwoman-style speed suit.
Hodgkinson said she felt like she was “wearing nothing” and hinted that she could even sport it for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The Athlos competition presented champions with a silver Tiffany crown rather than traditional medals, alongside a monetary reward of £48,500.

As for her eye-popping catsuit, Hodgkinson believes it meets legal standards. While performance was paramount, she did make one critical compromise – her hair.
She said: “The science was like technically with the air drag you’re slower with your hair out, but I was like, ‘That’s a non-negotiable. My hair is staying out.’ I’m very much, ‘Look good, feel good’ [and that] mental and physical balance.”
Quizzed if everyone will be wearing the style by the LA Olympics in 2028, Hodgkinson said: “We might know some things that people don’t.
“It was a test out there. This is not something we haven’t seen before. Like Cathy Freeman [who wore an all-in-one suit at the 2000 Olympics] and some other athletes from a while ago did something like this, and this is the updated new version, with the new technology.
“[Freeman] was before I was born, but I have seen the race and photos. It was really cool to draw inspiration from the past and make it your own as well. The style was a big thing for me.
“I wanted to be comfortable but I wanted to feel a little bit sexy, the back’s open and that makes it feel really cool. It feels like I’m wearing nothing to be honest. I trained in it in South Africa in 37-degree heat and it was OK.
“I’m honoured they let me put this on show. I was a little nervous, walking out. The shades helped me block out the noise, but it was really fun and it’s something I’ll remember forever.
“Honestly, this has been like a year in the making with all the adjustments and fittings. It was a really fun process with the Nike innovation team. I think it’s a mixture of fashion, speed and science all coming together, for maybe the future of athletics potentially.”
