OPINION: Roll up, roll up as Daily Star steps into one of London’s coolest hangout spots with a focus on interactive dart board games paired with good vibes and a scrumptious menu

If you’re looking for somewhere a little different for a catch-up with old friends or a chance to get to know new ones, Flight Club Victoria is a great spot for an evening out. The venue combines a lively atmosphere with playful interiors, delicious small plates and an impressive drinks menu that turns your mid-week get-together into a very special occasion.

One of the first things you’ll notice is the quirky decor as the interior is decked out like a retro circus with carnival lights, fairground-inspired decorations and even a helter skelter staircase. It’s colourful and full of character, the perfect backdrop for a relaxed evening of catching up, cocktails and company. There’s also plenty of food to pick from with a wide range of food options to suit every different appetite.

Choose from a wide selection of pizzas, sliders, hot dogs, tacos, bread and dips, plus plenty of other nibbles. Order a few bits and bobs to graze on over the course of the evening for a casual vibe while slinging darts at a board.

The drinks menu is equally impressive, with an extensive list of cocktails and mocktails. My personal favourite was the Watermelon Bliss, made with Seedlip Grove, watermelon, lemon and Trip CBD-infused Sicilian Lemon.

It’s refreshing mid-week tipple for a school night, proving a great alternative for those who want to limit their intake before a big weekend ahead. Whether you’re planning to catch-up with friends, a casual evening date or an after-work get-together with your colleagues, Flight Club is a vibrant venue that provides a great excuse to get everyone together.

With Christmas right around the corner, why not organise a session at Flight Club for your loved ones to get everyone in the festive spirit before the big day? Their upcoming seasonal treats include the Sleigh My Margarita with cranberry and cinnamon, a Winter Hugospritz with a dash of spiced berry cordial, pulled turkey sliders and crispy brie bites.

A private oche area seats up to 12 (oches can be linked for bigger groups), and food and drinks are delivered straight to you. For the full festive shebang, Flight Club Victoria’s heated roof terrace turns into a festive Winter Paradise from 16th November with heaters, blankets and bookable cabins for your crew.

And if you’d rather celebrate during the day, Festive Brunch runs every weekend in December with an hour of Social Darts, an hour at the bar, bottomless sharing pizza, a bottle of Prosecco or four beers each and a DJ playing Christmas classics, from £33pp.
