Space-saving mini tumble-dryer greater than £40 off ‘cuts drying time’ in winter
“The dryer is compact but works extremely well. Very good for small spaces but can fit a load in it.
Colder weather and rain can make drying our clothes even more of a chore, with consumers battling with damp laundry taking up room or bulky appliances crowding the household. Those with limited space are singing the praises of a space-saving, stackable tumble-dryer that still boasts a 5kg capacity – enough to fit up to 13 t-shirts, 20 towels, or one thick bed sheet.
The mini tumble-dryer would usually set consumers back £175.99, but a deal stack at Yimbly (an online retailer owned by the Daily Star’s parent company Reach Plc), is saving shoppers more than £40. This appliance is already on sale for £148.49, and when the code AUTUMN10 is applied, it drops even further to £133.65.
Currently beating the price of a number of retailers, including Debenhams, the gadget has five versatile drying modes and 60°c high-temp hygiene. It should protect delicate fabrics while ensuring professional-grade freshness, and the brand claims it’s ‘whisper-quiet’ when switched on.

At Yimbly, the appliance comes in black or white, so it can seamlessly slot into any interior taste. The compact size (measuring 49 x 43 x 61 cm) means it can stand alone or stack on a washing machine to save floor space. It also includes a detachable lint filter for easy cleaning.
Choose from Cool, Air Dry, Warm, Anti-Wrinkle, or Hot to care for any fabric. Toggle between half power (Normal) for delicate silks or full power (ECO) to gently dry bulky loads. At 1000W, it easily delivers soft, fresh laundry in less time while saving energy.
More drying methods
A clothes dryer pod is another way to sort laundry with less hassle in colder months. At Dunelm, this £55 clothes dryer pod costs from 18p per hour to run and has a space-saving foldable design. Inside the pod, clothes are heated to accelerate the drying process with safety overheat protection.
Another compact tumble dryer option can be found at Argos. The Bush TD3CNBW vented tumble-dryer delivers efficient drying for small households, with a 3kg capacity that handles 15 adult t-shirts per cycle. It’s currently on sale for £159, down from £179.
‘Very impressed’
Consumers are stating how the mini tumble-dryer from Yimbly has ‘cut the drying time’ for their laundry. Someone left a review that says: “Excellent value and great at drying clothes reasonably quickly.”
A second customer wrote: “The dryer is compact but works extremely well. Very good for small spaces, but can fit a load in it. Happy with my purchase.”
And a third person wrote something similar with: “Perfect for my flat, does the job and dries my clothes perfectly.”
Another buyer gave some feedback, commenting: “Great size for a small flat, only negative is it doesn’t come with a hose that has to be bought separately, but still happy with it.”
But, a skeptical shopper was won over after using the device, explaining: “Good compact dryer. Perfect for very small spaces. I was not hopeful due to always having a large dryer previously. It’s pretty impressive for its size.”
