Donald Trump in ‘main psychological decline’ as he is filmed ‘waving into the abyss’
The US President was seen stopping as he walked towards a waiting helicopter at the Presidential mansion before appearing to gaze longingly into the distance and wave at nobody
Donald Trump is feared to be in “major mental decline” after being filmed “waving to his imaginary friends” outside the White House. The Orange Manbaby, 80, stopped as he walked towards a waiting helicopter at the Presidential mansion, footage shows.
And he appeared to wave, look around for a few seconds and finally salute before getting on the helicopter. As the camera pans out, nobody appears to be stood in the direction he was waving at.
The clip has since been widely shared on social media. US Political influencer Brian Krassenstein said: “I now have absolutely no doubt that Donald Trump has major mental decline.”
Sharing the footage on Twitter, he added: “Just think for one minute if Joe Biden had waved into the abyss like Trump just did here. Imagine what Fox News would be saying. There is absolutely no rational explanation for this that I can see. How about you?”
Former Sky News presenter Kay Burley said: “Kudos to the camera operator.” And one wag quipped: “Donald Trump has imaginary friends, only he can see them!”
Another social media user suggested: “Trump has always waved to an imaginary crowd that the cameras never show. For narcissists, it’s all about creating an aggrandized self, a persona, a narrative — that he is popular, special, celebrated, and idolized.”
Someone else said: “Fresh update in my daily corner ‘Trump’s Brain Turns to Mush’: In a video filmed yesterday (October 20), Trump was seen stopping in front of the presidential helicopter and waving toward… no one. Twice!!!
“And this isn’t the first time he has no idea who he’s talking to, where he’s walking, or what he’s doing. I’m giving him two months.”
It came just days after questions were raised about his mental health when he walked straight past the open door of his armoured limo, dubbed “The Beast”. Secret service agents quickly scrambled to get Trump back to the motor during that incident.
A Twitter user wrote: “Last time, it was not recognizing his own car, and this time, it’s gazing at the air with lingering reluctance, deep affection, waving and saluting with full attention. I bet the people nearby all got goosebumps, wondering if they were seeing ghosts in broad daylight or what?”
Trump famously mocked Joe Biden during his presidency hit back at critics who doubted his own mental decline during his first term as president by declaring that he is “like, really smart” and a “very stable genius”.
He took to Twitter in 2018 to write: “Throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top TV Star to President on my first try. I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius… and a very stable genius at that!”
