A serial pervert with a collection of tutus has avoided jail after a history of exposing himself to women and girls in the street. Woods, who was reportedly known to locals for dressing up as the Grinch to surprise children on the school run, once lifted his pink netted skirt to show himself to two teenagers.

The 35-year-old was handed a five-year criminal behaviour order (CBO) and even banned from wearing transparent clothing. Woods was told on November 5 in 2025, not to wear transparent clothing, tutus or such attire or expose his genital area in public.

He was also instructed not to follow or approach any female who is alone and unknown to him, and not to enter woods, bridleways and alleyways near his home.

The only exception is once a week when he is allowed to enter an alleyway to put his rubbish out for collection. However, Woods breached the CBO on July 9 in Tunbridge Wells by approaching a stranger in a public place.

Wood had initially denied the offence, but was found guilty after a trial in September, where he was also found guilty of common assault on a woman on the same day in the same place.

He was remanded in custody while the matter was adjourned to allow for an all-options pre-sentencing report to be carried out.

At Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court, a sentencing hearing on October 12 saw Wood jailed for 10 months with the term suspended for 18 months. He will also have to wear a GPS monitoring tag for three months.

The bench felt the offences were serious and Wood had shown a flagrant disregard for the court order.

He must be supervised by the probation service for the period of his sentence, and must comply with any instructions from officers and attend appointments, or take part in activities as instructed.

The pervert’s offending began in June 2023 when he approached two teenage pupils as they walked home from school. One of them, who was just 15, spotted him wearing a T-shirt, before losing sight of him.

He then reappeared in a pink tutu, which he lifted to expose his genitals before skipping as the girls ran away.

After that, he also showed his manhood on two other occasions, leading to him being arrested in April 2024. He was charged with three counts of exposure and one count of failing to comply with a community protection notice.

He initially denied the allegations, but later pleaded guilty, claiming he didn’t do it for his own sexual gratification but because he likes dressing in women’s clothes.

The court heard how in July 2023, a woman in a car saw tutu-wearing Wood run into the road and expose himself.

Then eight months later, he was spotted by another victim running up the road in a pink leotard, which he pushed aside to reveal his genitals.

Magistrates were told that after this incident, Wood was handed the community protection notice banning him from showing his manhood in public. He was also prohibited from wearing any transparent clothing while out.

However, they were informed that in April 2024, a member of the public spotted him dressed in such attire.

It was claimed he jumped out from bushes in the pink tutu before running off, although he did not expose himself.

Wood had more than 40 tutus in his wardrobe when police arrested him.

Magistrates also heard he had been battling with his gender identity for some time, and had some anger issues, as he could be on the NHS waiting list for gender reassignment for as long as five years.

They then placed him on a 12-month community order for the exposure offences, and they also granted the CBO at that point.
