Samsung’s £1,419 Galaxy pill now £1 per day in Sky’s pre-Black Friday sale
Sky Mobile has knocked more than £190 off the powerful Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra
Shoppers don’t have to wait until Black Friday to bag a bargain on a new tablet as Sky Mobile has kicked things off early. The retailer is yet to announce its sale event but has just knocked £192 off the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G with Galaxy AI.
It’s on offer at £30 (was £34) when spread over a monthly plan, plus an upfront payment of £12. The deal works out at roughly £1 per day for the tablet across a 30-day month, and it’s built to manage everything from entertainment and gaming through to creative work and everyday tasks.
Sky’s tablet deal runs on a 48-month credit arrangement, which means customers will need to be confident about making four years of monthly instalments totalling £1,440, not including an additional data package. However, it presents a more budget-friendly alternative to buying outright from Samsung, which charges £1,419 for the same model.

There are further reductions available on mobile data too, with Sky currently providing 1GB for £1 per month over 24 months, reduced from £8 following the introductory period. This results in a total monthly cost for the tablet and data bundle of £31 each month, plus £12 upfront.
Those who’d rather have a briefer arrangement can alternatively choose a 36-month device payment scheme. This increases the price moderately, with the tablet offer climbing to £40 monthly before incorporating a data package, reports the Manchester Evening News.

What is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G with Galaxy AI?
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G boasts an enormous 14.6″ AMOLED display, producing vibrant colours and crisp images for watching films and series or completing tasks. Despite its dimensions, it measures just 5.1mm thick and weighs 695g, with a robust aluminium build and protection against water and dust.
Powered by an eight-core processor and 12GB of RAM, it’s built to cope with intensive applications and multitasking. The 256GB variant also accommodates microSD cards up to 2TB, while the large battery delivers up to 23 hours of video playback.
The tablet features 5G, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth connectivity, and includes an S Pen stylus for jotting down notes, drawing and marking up documents. Samsung’s Galaxy AI features can assist with summarising content, enhancing writing and organising notes, while Google’s Gemini assistant provides extra support with daily tasks.
For professional use, Samsung DeX delivers a desktop-like interface, simplifying the process of switching between applications and managing projects. The tablet operates on Android 16, with seven years of operating system and security updates guaranteed.
Offered in Grey or Silver, this device represents a more upmarket option compared to some budget tablets, including Samsung’s cheaper Galaxy Tab A and Amazon’s Fire HD line-up.
What else is on offer?
Shoppers who prefer an Apple device could grab the 11″ iPad Pro from £36.50 per month at Vodafone. Available in space black with 256GB storage, the offer is based on a 48-month contract and a £50 upfront cost, while data packages begin from an extra £8 monthly.
Alternatively, customers can grab the standard Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 128GB Wi-Fi Tablet in silver for £629 (was £799) in Argos’ Black Friday sale. Delivering impressive performance in a sleek and portable design, it also boasts a stunning display and intelligent AI-driven features.
What do shoppers say?
Customers who’ve already purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G have shared their reviews online, awarding it a 4.4-star rating on the Samsung website. One says: “The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is everything I wanted and need it to be, the larger screen makes it easier to work on than the smaller one I had previously.
“Battery life is good, and the book cover keyboard is a valuable addition. Smooth and quick operation and connects well to mobile and wireless networks.”
Another user noted: “The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G is my first-ever tablet, and I can confidently say-I don’t regret this purchase one bit. It’s a powerful, beautifully designed device that’s elevated both my work and personal life.”
A third added: “I love the size, the AI, and the performance is second to none. Don’t really use the camera. Battery is brilliant, connectivity is quick and easy, and the display is extremely good.”
Not everyone was entirely convinced, though, with one person stating: “Amazing screen and AI features. Samsung have removed Bluetooth features from the S Pen, so you’re not able to use the pen as a remote when watching Netflix. Preferred functionality on S8 Ultra tab. Premium pricing but reducing features. No vibrate function either.”
Nevertheless, this satisfied tech fan awarded a glowing five-star rating, saying: “Very good quality, very powerful and pleasant to use. Long battery life, high-quality screen. With the keyboard case, I work on it as on a laptop.”
