Sky News correspondent compelled to apologise for ‘bull***’ Donald Trump remark

Donald Trump took to Truth Social to reveal he is watching the pre-election coverage on Fox News, slamming its coverage with expletive-laden posts

A Sky News correspondent has been forced to apologise after reading out a furious social media post which included an expletive from President Donald Trump live on air.

Mark Stone, the outlet’s US correspondent, is currently stationed outside the White House as the results for the US midterm elections are about to be delcared.

The reporter read out a diatribe posted on TruthSocial by Trump around two hours ago, in which he railed against one of the early polls emerging as polling booths closed.

But Mr Stone was forced to say sorry after mistakenly reading out the full expletive from the President.

The post reads: “The FoxNews Poll, always the worst, is so insulting with the questions they ask.

“Every question is a hit job, and every answer is “BULL****!” This has been going on for years. President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Earlier in the night, Donald Trump took to Truth Social to reveal he is watching the pre-election coverage on Fox News.

However, rather than offering a final rallying cry, the President took aim at Jessica Tarlov, a political strategist for the Democrats who appears on the channel. Trump branded her a “LOSER” and said he would have to “go somewhere else” until she is “off the air”.

Donald Trump has oozed confidence about today’s midterm results in public – but reportedly hasn’t been so optimistic in private.

The US President spent the day throwing his support behind dozens of Republican candidates in a series of Truth Social posts, while also sharing links directing voters to polling information.

However, US outlets have cited sources in Trump’s camp as saying he has “privately conceded” that his party may be facing the “worst case scenario”.
