England’s Nations League squad in full as Tuchel names brothers however no Palmer
Thomas Tuchel has made his decision on Cole Palmer after naming his England squad for their upcoming Nations League clashes with Croatia and Spain
Thomas Tuchel has named his England squad for the upcoming international break, with Cole Palmer not in the squad. England are back in Nations League action this month as Tuchel’s side against Croatia (November 12) and Spain (November 15).
Cole Palmer had been selected for the last international break, but the Chelsea striker quickly pulled out of international duty. At the time, Tuchel said he was “playing with discomfort and pain” but was “missing too many opportunities” with England.
And he has now been dropped from Tuchel’s squad for the November fixtures.

Josh King has also earned his first call-up to the senior squad, after the 19-year-old has impressed for Fulham in the Premier League. While Jobe Bellingham has also found room in the squad, joining older brother Jude.
There’s also a return for Ben White, who last featured for the Three Lions in March – when he scored an own goal against Uruguay. However, there are a series of notable absentees – including Phil Foden.
Foden has been finding his feet once again under Enzo Maresca, but there was no room for him in the squad. And it’s the same story for Noni Madueke, who has impressed at Arsenal in recent weeks.
Trey Nyoni has also been snubbed, with one fan admitting: “Surprised Trey Nyoni hasn’t been called up. He will definitely be called up in March, especially how his season is progressing!”
“The Bellingham brothers finally playing together,” a second shared. While a third posted: “Cool for Jobe but this squad is genuinely terrible compared to the ones in 2021 or 2022…”
And another added: “Granted Thomas Tuchel has a lot of options to pick from in midfield, but you really do have to wonder what more Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall needs to do to receive an England call-up…”
The Three Lions started their Nations League campaign during September and October’s extended international break – losing 3-2 to Spain before bouncing back with two wins over Czechia and a 7-0 demolition of Croatia.
