Woman says stepdad made ‘shrine’ along with her underwear and raped her earlier than killing mum

The daughter of a woman killed by her former partner has spoken out about her former stepdad, and accused him of raping her and making a sick shrine out of her personal belongings.

The daughter of a woman killed by her ex-husband has detailed how her vile stepdad raped her and made a shrine from her underwear. Melissa K. Pelc-Lohr was found dead at her home in New York state on October 27.

She had been shot in the head by her sick former partner Norman Lohr Jr shortly after returning from a trip to Las Vegas for her daughter’s 30th birthday. The killer reportedly fled the scene but was spotted by cops while driving.

Officers pursued Lohr Jr for around 200 miles before the 50-year-old fatally shot himself. 50-year-old Melissa is survived by her two children Allison and Freddie Pelc.

Speaking about her late mother’s killing, Pelc-Lohr’s daughter Allison accused her former stepfather of raping her, as well as making a deeply disturbing shrine out of her underwear and other personal belongings.

In a video posted on her Facebook, the heartbroken daughter said that there had been “warning signs”. She said: “There have been years of warning signs that led up to her death. My former stepdad, Norman, also known as Ed, raped me, and for years, I experienced harassment.

“He was just so obsessed after doing what he did to me; he would not stop. I tried to protect myself using the legal system, and look what happened, my mum is gone.”

Pelc also accused her sick stepdad of making a bizarre shrine out of objects belonging to her, including pants and a serious “”inappropriate items and liquids”. The shrine, which was kept in the twisted killer’s wardrobe, also contained a dirty sanitary napkin.

Pelc also said that her step father had raped her in January 2023, which lead her and her mum to visit the sherrif’s office in order to file a report, according to the New York Post.

She stated: “I had to get two [orders of protection] to try and [at] least feel safe. But nothing happens, we just keep letting people get away with things.”

Pelc said she reported an alleged breach to the FBI but she did not receive any response.

A GoFundMe raising money for the victim’s funeral costs has so far raised more than $4000.

According to a post on the page the fund aims “to help with travel and funeral expenses between New York and Michigan because she was loved by SO MANY and loved ones can give her the proper burial and the loving goodbye she deserves.”

A tribute on the page reads: “On Tuesday, October 27, Mellissa Pelc’s life was tragically taken in a senseless act of stalking-related domestic violence. A devastating and unimaginable loss, Mellissa leaves behind two children, Allison Pelc and Freddie Pelc, who are now facing the heartbreaking reality of life without their mother.

“No child should ever have to experience this kind of loss. During this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out to friends, family, our community, and even kind strangers to ask for help supporting Allison and Freddie.”
