Paul Doyle drives into 6-month-old child’s pram and shouts ‘f***ing hell’ after hitting woman
The driver involved in the horror scenes following the Liverpool title parade shouted ‘f***ing hell, move’ after hitting small girl before knocking over a pram carrying a six-month-old.
Paul Doyle is in court today for a two-day sentencing after admitted a total of 31 charges last month. Doyle had driven his car into crowds of fans during the celebrations earlier this year.
More than 100 pedestrians, ranging from babies to a 78-year-old woman, were injured after being struck by the Ford Galaxy on Water Street in Liverpool city centre shortly after 6pm on Monday, May 26.
Liverpool Crown Court today heard about incidents involving the youngest victims.
The prosecution said: “We again warn everyone that we’re going to be looking at the particularly shocking footage we viewed towards the beginning of this address.

After colliding with a small girl he continues to shout: “F***ing hell, move. Get out the f***ing way. Get out the way move move move.
“Move. move out the f***ing way. F***ing hell move.
“F***ing hell move. Get out the f***ing way. What the f*** are you doing?
Doyle then comes to a stop, at which stage many fans approach his car. His engine is still heard revving even at this point.
In the dock, Doyle appears emotional and wipes his nose with a tissue as this is heard in court.
The prosecution later showed footage that caused the court to gasp as the mother of the young victim, six-month-old Teddy Eveson, was in court today.
Paul Greaney KC, prosecuting, said: “Next we’re going to see a very short piece of footage. In it my lord will see a pram on its side. The defendant has driven into that pram. In it was a boy aged just short of six months called Teddy Eveson. He is the complainant in count 17. Fortunately, he was uninjured, remarkably. I know his mum is in court.”
Gasps and hushed comments of “oh my god” are heard.
Addressing further CCTV and mobile phone clips, Mr Greaney adds: “This footage does contain distressing images of those who were injured – in the final shot, we see Teddy’s pram, but we will not show Teddy being recovered from within it.
The videos show one man being thrown onto the bonnet near to Hooters before ramming into crowds to the right of the vehicle.
The car then comes to a stop, with several people appearing to be trapped underneath at this stage.
A swarm then descends on the car.
A mobile phone clip sees the injured strewn around, including little Teddy on the floor beside his pram, which is lying on its side.
