Travis Kelce and the Chiefs land in Las Vegas for his or her remaining recreation of the season as Taylor Swift’s fiance weighs up retirement

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs have landed in Las Vegas for what could be his final game in the NFL.

Speculation that Taylor Swift‘s fiance could walk away from football after 13 seasons has ramped up ever since it was confirmed the Chiefs could not make the playoffs.

The 36-year-old tight end will play his final game of this season on Sunday when the Chiefs play Tom Brady‘s Raiders in a dead rubber.

And Kelce was filmed stepping off the team’s private flight on Saturday afternoon as Andy Reid‘s team finalized their preparations for the game in Sin City.

Carrying two bags down the plane steps, Kelce looked casual in a black co-ord with a khaki sweater.

With his sunglasses on, Kelce gave very little away as he walked to a bus waiting for the team on the tarmac while listening to music.

Kelce has spent his entire career with the Chiefs after being drafted in 2013, winning three Super Bowls and establishing himself as one of the best tight ends in the history of the game.

He has enjoyed an impressive individual season with 839 yards to his name and five touchdowns, even while the Chiefs have imploded and failed to make the playoffs.

But the 36-year-old’s Chiefs contract expires at the end of the season and many believe he won’t be signing a new one.

Instead, many expect he will use that as the time to bring the curtain down on his career and ride off into the sunset with Swift.

The pair are reportedly set to tie the knot on June 13 at the luxurious Ocean House in Rhode Island, close to Swift’s property in the north-east of America.

Perhaps Swift will give the clearest indication yet of her future husband’s plans this weekend.

Swift hasn’t been to a road game since the Chiefs won in the playoffs at Buffalo Bills in January 2024. If she has made the trip for a dead rubber game in Las Vegas, it would surely only be because it is the last time Kelce will be on the field.

Kelce has kept his cards close to his chest about what the future holds, insisting he will reach a decision once the season is over and he has had time to hold talks with Chiefs, as well as his friends and family.

But he has said before that he won’t play for any other team in the NFL than the Chiefs.

Kelce looked on the brink of retiring after the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl to Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans back in February but ultimately decided he didn’t want to quit the game on such a low note.

In an emotionally-charged interview with fellow franchise legend Tony Gonzalez on Christmas Day, Kelce spoke out on the retirement rumors.

‘I think I’m still searching for those answers,’ Kelce said when pressed on his looming decision.

‘Obviously the way this one ended with a sour taste in my mouth. I feel motivated but I’ve got to make the right decision for myself.’

However, the three-time Super Bowl winner didn’t fully close the door on the possibility of returning for one more season.

‘Just the fact that when I know it’s over, it’s over,’ he added when Gonzalez questioned what he would be returning for.

‘I still have a lot of love for this game. If I came back it would be just to answer that flame in my heart for this thing.’
