Luke Littler lands ‘£20m payday’ with two-time world champion’s earnings set to soar – days after forking out on a luxurious mansion for his dad and mom
Luke Littler has struck a reported £20million payday with Target Darts in what has is being hailed as the ‘biggest deal’ the sport’s history – just days after buying his parents a £1million luxury mansion.
World No 1 Littler, 18, has secured the multi-million contract one week after winning a second consecutive World Darts Championship title with his 7-1 victory over Gian van Veen.
According to the Press Association the deal is worth £20million over the next decade, once potential earnings, bonuses, and a percentage of sales of products and equipment are factored in.
‘Target has believed in me from day one and I’m delighted that there are many more years to come,’ Littler said after the eye-watering deal was announced.
‘From my playing career to my product range, we’ve built everything together and I’m really excited to commit to our partnership long-term and see where we can take this next.’
It comes just 24 hours after the Daily Mail revealed how the teenage sensation got himself on the property ladder after snapping up a sprawling five-bedroom property on the outskirts of Warrington, Cheshire, understood to be for his mother and father.

Estate agents describe his new corner plot home as a ‘stunning extended family home’, boasting high-end features including a hot tub, solar panels, and a vast open-plan kitchen designed for entertaining.
Nicknamed ‘The Nuke’, the 18-year-old had been renting an exclusive £6,000-per-month property nearby with mother Lisa, 42, and taxi driver father Anthony Buckley, 45, following his extraordinary ascent in the sport.
But following his £1million payday at Alexandra Palace last week, he has taken the next step by buying a house outright. A source close to Littler said that he was understood to want the property to be his parents’ ‘forever home’.
‘Luke’s a young man,’ they said. ‘He’s bought this place and is living there with his mum and dad but in time he’ll spread his wings and the hope is they will stay there.
‘It’s not a bad Christmas present for them but it’s only what they deserve having done everything to help him get where he is today.’
Littler’s parents have been front and centre of his dramatic rise in darts, with Anthony and Lisa always seen cheering him on in the crowd.
Target Darts’ chairman Garry Plummer said it was Anthony who asked the company to sponsor him aged just 12.
‘We’d never taken on someone so young, but I saw something special in him and saying yes was easy,’ Plummer said after the new deal with Littler was announced.
Littler won his second World Darts Championship last week, beating Gian van Veen in the final
‘Watching him grow since, as both a player and a person, has been a privilege. His achievements on and off the oche have been remarkable, and this new agreement celebrates everything we’ve built together and the exciting future ahead.’
Target Darts also said the darts sensation purchased a brand-new set of Apple AirPods for every member of Target Darts staff after his most recent World Darts Championship win.
Littler, who first picked up a dart at 18 months, spent the first six years of his life in nearby Runcorn before moving to Warrington. There he lived with his parents and sister Caitlin in a modest semi-detached house and later attended the local comprehensive, Padgate Academy.
The star, who was supported at the World Darts Championship final by girlfriend Faith Millar, 19, has since been enjoying the trappings of success away from the oche.
In November, he bought his first car – a personalised £39,000 BMW M Sport 120 – just days after passing his driving test.
Littler has already earned more than £2million in prize money across two years on the professional circuit, on top of lucrative sponsorship deals and Premier League earnings.
Asked how he would spend his Ally Pally winnings, Littler revealed he wanted to spend money on collectable football cards and ‘a few boxes’ to watch Manchester United.
He said: ‘Obviously, it’s a lot of money. I’m the first player to break the £2million mark. Hopefully, I can try and get up to £3million.
‘Obviously, the money’s there. I’ve said it before in the past, us as a family we’ve never had this sort of money.’
Before his latest Ally Pally victory, Littler’s net worth was estimated at around £6.5million.
