Donald Trump posts alarming, cryptic warning to organize for ICE ‘day of retribution’

Donald Trump issued an alarming warning to prepare for a “day of retribution” in Minnesota.
Despite a wave of revulsion against the tactics and actions of ICE in Minnesota, the US President today doubled down on his surge of agents into the state, targeting Somali Americans, the vast majority of whom are US citizens.
In a post on his own Truth Social platform, Trump wrote: “Do the people of Minnesota really want to live in a community in which there are thousands of already convicted murderers, drug dealers and addicts, rapists, violent released and escaped prisoners, dangerous people from foreign mental institutions and insane asylums, and other deadly criminals too dangerous to even mention.”
He went on to defend the actions of ICE, despite mounting protests against them.
“All the patriots of ICE want to do is remove them from your neighborhood and send them back to the prisons and mental institutions from where they came,” he said. “Most in foreign Countries who illegally entered the USA though Sleepy Joe Biden ’s HORRIBLE Open Border’s Policy.”
None of this is true. ICE have been targeting the Somali American community in Minnesota, about 95% of whom are US citizens – either by naturalisation or birth. Of the roughly 34,100 people of Somali heritage in Minnesota who were not born in the US, around 21,000 – 62% – have lived in the country for more than a decade.
About 5,800 people of Somali heritage are non-citizens – but again, the vast majority entered the country legally and are present on visas or green cards. The best estimate is that there are fewer than 1,000 illegal Somali migrants in Minnesota.
Given the Trump administration has reportedly sent about 3,000 ICE agents to Minnesota, that works out at roughly three agents for every one person they could deport.
Trump went on: “Every place we go, crime comes down. In Chicago, despite a weak and incompetent Governor and Mayor fighting us all the way, a big improvement was made. Thousands of Criminals were removed! Minnesota Democrats love the unrest that anarchists and professional agitators are causing because it gets the spotlight off of the 19 Billion Dollars that was stolen by really bad and deranged people.”
He added: “FEAR NOT, GREAT PEOPLE OF MINNESOTA, THE DAY OF RECKONING & RETRIBUTION IS COMING!”
