Multiple pupils ‘overwhelmed and stamped on’ in class horror clips as one ‘slammed into sink’
WARNING, DISTRESSING CONTENT: Footage has emerged online showing pupils being attacked at an Edinburgh school, with parents raising serious safety concerns about their children

Edinburgh parents ‘horrified’ as footage shows ‘feral’ fights
Disturbing video clips have surfaced showing students being “beaten and stamped on” at a school in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Parents of children attending Firhill High School in Oxgangs are deeply worried about their kids’ safety after several clips depicting appalling violence have been shared online.
One parent confessed to being “shaken to their core” upon seeing the most recent video, which was recorded on Friday, (January 9). According to one parent, one of the students involved suffered a fractured rib.
The chilling footage, which was passed onto our sister title Edinburgh Live, appears to be filmed in a school toilets and shows three boys assaulting a young student who cries out for help.
The victim is repeatedly kicked, and at one point, one of the boys lifts him up and horrifyingly smashes his head against the sink.
Another distressing clip shows a group of boys in a wooded area punching each other, while a terrified pupil is continuously kicked as he’s curled up on the ground.
Voices in the background can be heard pleading: “F***ing stop, that’s enough, stop it. Oh my god, stop.”
A third video captures two girls fighting outside, while pulling each other’s hair and kicking each other. Another clip shows a girl being thrown onto the pavement before being kicked multiple times.
Reacting to these shocking incidents, one parent, who wishes to remain anonymous for their child’s safety, expressed that there needs to be acknowledgment of the lack of repercussions at Firhill High School.
They said: “There have been many fights since my child started high school in August, with videos to go with them and kids getting sent to hospital. My child was sent a video on Friday, and this is one of the worst that happened.
“It shook me to my core as a parent. One of the boys involved has been in many fights, and is still in school the next day.
“In the video you can hear the boy begging, apologising. They repeatedly kick him, steal his shoes and even slam his face off the sink.
“The boy apparently now has a fractured rib and nose. It’s frightening and concerning, especially when it feels there are no consequences for their actions.
“There’s a clip with a lot of boys in the woods, two of them ended up in hospital with concussions. I really hope we can shed some light on this and push the school to take action towards the feral kids at this school, and help parents feel more at ease sending their kids to school.”
Edinburgh education chief councillor James Dalgleish expressed feeling “deeply shocked” upon witnessing the disturbing material and pledged to reassure families that he would treat the matter “extremely seriously”.
He further stated: “To be absolutely clear, bullying and behaviour of this kind is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated. School should be a safe environment where children and young people can learn and thrive, and I can only imagine how the victims and their families must feel.
“I will ensure that they are receiving all the support they need following these awful incidents. Action has been taken by the school’s leadership to address this unacceptable behaviour, and I am fully committed to working closely with the school, education colleagues and Police Scotland to further address this as a matter of urgency.”
