Woman, 44, charged with having ‘oral and penetrative intercourse’ with boy, 15

Lisca Willmott, from Norfolk, is alleged to have had sexual relations with the teenager across a two-month period in 2023 – she is now facing up to five years behind bars

A woman has appeared in court accused of having sex with a 15-year-old boy.

Lisca Willmott, 44, is alleged to have engaged in oral and penetrative sex with the teenager over a two-month period between July and September 2023. Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told the allegations were so serious they could only be heard before a crown court.

Willmott, of The Green in Runhall, between Wymondham and Dereham, Norfolk, faces two charges of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a child aged under 16. Wearing a striped jumper and accompanied by two supporters in the public gallery, she did not enter a plea to the charges.

The offences carry a maximum sentence of five years. Deputy district judge Jacqui Appleton committed the case to Norwich Crown Court with a plea and trial preparation hearing set to be heard on February 20.

James Burrows, representing Willmott, said the allegations were “likely to be challenged”.

The court was told any trial would likely hear evidence from the teenage boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and a number of other youngsters.
