Liam Gallagher confirms he has purchased Tony Adams’ £4.2m Cotswolds mansion as he tells his new neighbours: ‘I are available in peace’
Liam Gallagher has confirmed his purchase of Tony Adams‘ £4.2million Cotswolds mansion in a social media post.
The Oasis singer, 53, took to X on Saturday to inform his 3.7million followers of the news and share a funny message to residents of his new home in Coates, near Cirencester.
‘To all the BEAUTIFUL people from the cotswolds I come in peace you won’t even know I’m there I’m not like all those divvy celebrities who like to show off I’m LO FI as you were LG x,’ he wrote in the post.
Fans were quick to flood the comment section of the post with questions and playful messages, some of which Gallagher responded to.
One Oasis enthusiast wrote: ‘Do you have secret service spiritual space invader missions to fulfill in the Cotswolds or what’. The rockstar jokingly responded: ‘How do you know this’.
Another fan asked: ‘Have you sold your highgate house?’, to which Gallagher replied: ‘No it’s in the museum’.
A third Oasis lover tried her luck, asking: ‘Any Chance of a pic n natter with u then as I live nearby’. The songwriter responded: ‘Nooooooooooooo only kidding’.
Gallagher’s new sprawling Dockem House sits within five acres of Cotswolds countryside and previously belonged to Arsenal icon Tony Adams.

The property boasts an array of amenities, including a swimming pool, tennis courts, stables, and a two-bedroom cottage.
The house sits just on the edge of Coates, which has a population of around 500 people. And while they are no strangers to celebrities living nearby, residents said there is still an ‘air of excitement’ around their newest neighbour.
Jan Edmonds, who has lived in the village for 12 years and runs the monthly Coffee, Cake and Chat mornings at the village hall, told Gloucestershire Live: ‘There is a certain air of excitement and anticipation.
‘He’s a celebrity that most people know about, of all generations.
‘It’s a friendly village so we’ll make him welcome. I’m sure he’ll have a very nice time here, even if it’s just his country residence.
‘And we’ll be excited if we see him and his family.
A source told The Sun in December: ‘Liam loves the countryside and the house is the perfect retreat following the mammoth Oasis tour.
‘Liam is also very fond of his rescue dog Buttons, so wanted to find a home with plenty of outdoor space.
‘He loves hosting, so is looking forward to welcoming friends and family to the home.’
The newspaper first revealed how former England and Arsenal captain Tony, 58, decided it was time to move on and had put the magnificent home on the market.
Adams, who competed on Strictly in 2022, was hoping to net a tidy profit on the hideaway, which he bought more than 20 years ago for £2 million, and it appears he did.
He bought the property from a millionaire businessman straight after hanging up his boots following a 19-year career playing at centre back for the Premier League club.
The ‘charming’ main house – described by estate agents when it was listed for sale as having ‘the perfect blend of elegance, comfort and tranquility’ – boasts ‘classic architecture with a touch of Cotswold charm’.
The interior is said to provide ‘versatile entertainment spaces for every occasion.’
These include a cinema and games room which features Arsenal team photos and memorabilia, including his famous number 6 shirt, a pool table, table tennis, and even a drum kit.
Particulars which accompany a slick video tour of the property also highlight the more traditional aspects of the property, saying: ‘From elegant drawing rooms and formal dining areas, the house is adorned with period features, spacious rooms and high ceilings throughout creating a wealth of light and space.’
Upstairs, a huge master bedroom has a large football-style dressing room and ensuite bathroom, and there are four further bedrooms, one of which Adams used as an office.

Gallagher’s purchase of the property comes after it was revealed in August how his Downton Abbey-style mansion, which he rented with fiancée Debbie Gwyther for an eye-popping £19K-a-month ahead of Oasis’s reunion tour, was put on sale for £6million.
The spectacular Grade II-listed property near Stroud in Gloucestershire, which has undergone extensive renovations, boasts 11-bedrooms, 10-bathrooms, a gym, sauna, and even a meditation room.
During his Cotswolds stay last year, Gallagher counted the likes of David and Victoria Beckham, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden as neighbours, while Taylor Swift also rented a £3K-a-night property nearby during her own UK tour.
