Just one week remains in the January transfer window, leaving Liverpool with limited time to wrap up any remaining deals. On the field, it’s been yet another disappointing weekend for Liverpool after they succumbed to a 3-2 defeat against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
The result means Liverpool have now endured five Premier League fixtures without securing a win. They return to action on Wednesday when they face Qarabag in the Champions League, before welcoming Newcastle in the Premier League next weekend.

Andy Robertson replacement
Liverpool are ‘preparing’ to make a move for Fulham full-back Antonee Robinson as a possible replacement for Andy Robertson, according to TEAMTalk, reports the Mirror.
Robertson appeared destined to depart Anfield before the window closes, with discussions ongoing regarding a potential switch to Tottenham Hotspur. However, it seems any exit has been shelved, given Liverpool’s inability to bring back Kostas Tsimikas from his loan stint.
However, the report suggests that the club continues to hold the player in high regard ahead of a possible move in the summer transfer window. The USA international is also reportedly eager to make a switch to Anfield.
Two stars in demand
The same report from TEAMTalk also indicates that Fulham are interested in two Liverpool players – Kostas Tsimikas and Harvey Elliott.
Tsimikas could return to Liverpool from a loan spell for the second half of the season, while there remains uncertainty over Elliot’s long-term future. The midfielder is currently on loan at Aston Villa, but has struggled to secure regular playing time.
