Eerie Simpsons’ episode ‘predicted Epstein Island’ – with ‘creeps that run the world’

Internet sleuths have once again suggested that The Simpsons predicted the future, pointing to an episode 26 years ago which they claim eerily foresaw the paedophile’s infamous island where he was accused of abusing young girls

The Simpsons has often been credited with predicting the future – from Covid-19 to Donald Trump becoming US President.

Now internet sleuths are claiming that a 2000 episode from the popular cartoon anticipated Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious island. The episode – titled ‘The Computer Wore Menace Shoes’ – shows Homer discovering the internet and setting up his own gossip blog.

The blog starts gaining popularity and Homer gets feted with some awards but eventually finds himself kidnapped by one his readers and taken to a shady isle. Towards the end of the episode he escapes and issues a warning on his website.

The warning describes some “creeps on an island somewhere” who are “secretly running the world”.

Internet denizens have drawn parallels between the fictitious cabal and disgraced billionaire Epstein who was accused of sexually abusing and trafficking underage girls on Little Saint James and Great Saint James – collectively known as “Epstein Island” – for years with other public figures.

One conspiracy theorist on X said: “The Simpsons warned the world about the orgies on Epstein’s island.”

Another tinfoil hat-wearer said: “The Simpsons were the first to tell us about the Epstein Files.”

The Epstein scandal has erupted in recent weeks after the release of three million pages of legal documents by the US government.

Among the shocking revelations, emails from 2010 reveal that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (formerly known as Prince Andrew) extended an invitation to Epstein for a private dinner at Buckingham Palace.

Further correspondence suggests Epstein attempted to introduce him to a “trustworthy” 26 year old Russian woman.

Tech tycoon Elon Musk is also implicated, with 2013 emails showing he enquired about visiting Epstein’s infamous private island, Little Saint James. This comes despite Musk previously labelling Epstein a “creep” and denying ever setting foot on the island.

Lord Mandelson has been dragged into the scandal as well, with emails revealing Epstein transferred £10,000 to Mandelson’s partner for an osteopathy course in 2009. Mandelson has since expressed “deep regret” over his connections with the disgraced financier.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates finds himself under scrutiny too, after Epstein’s personal notes hinted at alleged affairs, allegations which Gates’ spokesperson has vehemently dismissed as “completely false”.
