Lil Nas X goes from chart-topper to discount hunter as he is seen shopping for a used fridge in LA after nude public meltdown

Lil Nas X was in the mood to strike a bargain as he awaits a court hearing over his highly publicized naked meltdown and subsequent arrest in Los Angeles back in August.

The STAR WALKIN’ rapper, 26, was seen buying a used refrigerator at a South Central Los Angeles appliance store on Friday.

Nas was wearing a mask but whether it was to protect his health or remain incognito wasn’t clear.

If it was for the latter, he didn’t exactly succeed, as he was clad in an eye-catching ensemble including a white t-shirt printed with an American flag over black shorts, white Stetson cowboy hat and wide-calf black cowboy boots.

Nas even helped to load the appliance into the back of his SUV, and before hauling it home he stopped at a Home Depot, observers noted.

The second-hand purchase comes months after the rapper, whose father broke down in tears seeing his ‘baby boy’ behind bars, was charged with four felonies – including assaulting cops – following his public, naked and erratic incident early in the morning on August 21.

The Rodeo artist, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, was arrested by LAPD after the star was filmed shouting song lyrics and making hand gestures at passing cars before ‘charging’ at police.

Nas was first seen walking down Ventura Blvd in white western boots and a pair of tighty whities.

At some point during his street-side jaunt, he ditched the clothes and was seen putting an orange traffic cone on his head, allegedly telling a bystander he was going to a party.

He was completely nude when he was taken into custody by the cops.

The LAPD told NBC4 that Nas allegedly threw punches at the officers, which prompted them to force the musician to the ground, and he was initially charged with misdemeanor battery on a police officer.

Nas was later transported to hospital for a possible drug overdose before being returned to police custody, reports claimed.

A felony complaint obtained by The Daily Mail at the time showed Nas has been charged with three separate counts of battery with injury on a peace officer – referring to three alleged assaults on separate police officers.

He was also hit with a felony charge of resisting an executive officer.

Nas faces up to five years in state prison if convicted of the alleged offenses, per LA County DA officials.

The musician appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court on August 25, looking forlorn while clad in a blue jumpsuit alongside his attorney Christy O’Connor.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was later released from jail after posting $75,000 bail and ordered to attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings.

Since then, Nas has taken steps toward addressing his mental health including a stint at an inpatient treatment program, according to People.

Nas has a preliminary court hearing in a few weeks on March 12.
