What traders have to know concerning the UK inventory market because it hits report highs: INVESTING SHOW

After years in the doldrums, the UK stock market is flying.
The FTSE 100 has hit a succession of record highs and broke through the 10,000 mark in the early days of 2026.
Fast forward a month, and the UK’s leading stock market index has gained almost 5 per cent this year and briefly traded above 10,500.
But Adrian Gosden, manager of Jupiter UK Multi Cap fund tells Simon Lambert on this episode of the Investing Show that there’s much more to the UK stock market than the FTSE 100.
He says some of the best opportunities lie further down the ladder in the mid-cap FTSE 250 and among smaller companies, some of which are trading at very cheap valuations.
Adrian discusses what investors need to know about the UK stock market, where he believes some golden opportunities lie – and why investors need to pay attention to the first proper interest rate cycle since the financial crisis.
