Sarah Ferguson dubbed ‘grifter’ and instructed to ‘get a job’ after cash declare
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Angela Rippon brutally slammed Sarah Ferguson on Vanessa Feltz’s Channel 5 show, calling Andrew’s ex-wife a “grifter” and urging her to find employment
Angela Rippon launched a scathing attack on Sarah Ferguson, branding Prince Andrew’s former wife nothing more than a “grifter” in a savage put-down. Her remarks follow the continuing controversy surrounding convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his connections to Fergie and her disgraced former husband Andrew.
He has consistently denied any misconduct. During a frank exchange on presenter Vanessa Feltz’s eponymous Channel 5 programme, they tackled the former Duchess of York’s plans to re-enter public life.
Sarah, 66, is reportedly “getting her head together” and “needs money” in the UAE following a jaunt to the French Alps with mates, according to the Daily Mail.
Whilst in the Middle East, Fergie also spent time with her youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, 35, in Qatar as the young Royal attended an art exhibition in Doha for professional purposes.
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, 81, lambasted the ex-Duchess and called on her to secure employment. Fergie allegedly sought Epstein’s guidance regarding her £6m debts whilst he remained imprisoned for soliciting prostitution from a minor, reports the Express.
Recently disclosed emails from the Department of Justice seemingly reveal Fergie’s frantic efforts to secure financial rescue following monetary troubles. The panel debated, “Can Fergie make a comeback?”.
Angela remarked: “She can go serve in a bar. She can go work in a supermarket.” Vanessa interrupted: “She could work in a care home.”
The former Rip Off Britain host concurred, adding: “What she wants to do is make a comeback. A comeback to what? She was a member of the Royal family who was capitalising on that marriage to a Royal prince. Her association with other members of the Royal family, that’s what she capitalised on. She never held a proper job. She was a grifter.”
Angela went on: “When she would run out of money she would go to Epstein.” The BBC presenter pointed out that Fergie now faces the same reality many people encounter when they need money and have to work.
“She has nothing to offer at all because her reputation has been tarnished,” she commented. “And because for all her life she’s assumed the way you get money is to borrow from other people or take from other people, and live on a reputation that others have established through the royal family.”
Angela concluded that Fergie can only make a meaningful comeback by not pretending to be something that she is not.
She added: “Get a job and be a proper mother to her daughters.”
The ex-royal is said to be on the hunt for a new PR team to represent her upon her return to the UK.
