Adam Peaty‘s estranged mother has urged social media followers to ‘be kind’ after her brief appearance in Gordon Ramsay‘s Netflix docuseries was finally aired.
Caroline Peaty is seen embracing her soon to be daughter-in-law Holly Ramsay in a scene from the new show, launched by the streaming giant on Wednesday, despite making a formal request to be edited out from the final cut.
She has since posted a series of motivational quotes on Instagram, including one in which she describes the birth of her children as ‘her greatest achievement.’
Caroline, 60, also asked for ‘small acts of kindness’ following a tumultuous Christmas, during which she was banished from her own son’s lavish wedding ceremony.
Taking to the social media platform as Ramsay’s new documentary series – which includes footage from the service – aired on Netflix, she wrote: ‘When I die, bury me with a picture of my children.
‘Because the greatest thing I’ve ever done isn’t my career, my house, material things, or the money I’ve made.

It’s the sleepless nights I survived, the tiny hands I held, the laughter, the tears, and every hug that healed me.
‘The greatest thing I’ve ever done is becoming a mother.’
A second post urged followers to ‘be kind to others… for even the smallest act of kindness makes the world a better place.’
Gordon’s six-part show follows the TV chef, 59, as he juggles family life with his new business empire – opening five culinary experiences in one of London’s tallest buildings, 22 Bishopsgate.
Holly and Adam are seen in the show as they’re joined by both the Ramsay’s and the Peaty family at their engagement party, with his mum Caroline briefly shown at the bash.
She is filmed looking on as Gordon makes a speech inside his Bread Street Kitchen restaurant. She is also seen embracing his eldest daughter Holly in another scene.
The boastful chef is seen telling guests: ‘The most important family is the one you create and she [Holly] comes from an incredible family so its now her time to create her own family. It is quite a moment.’
The party was filmed months before Adam was first reported to have fallen out with his family, which later saw his mother snubbed from the wedding invite list.

A source close to Caroline previously revealed she had written to Netflix producers to say she was not asked for her consent to be filmed for Gordon’s show, and given what had happened, did not want to feature.
However, a source said filming notices were displayed throughout the venue where the bash took place.
They told The Sun: ‘They [posters] stated that by attending you were giving your consent to appear in the show…
‘The Peaty family members were not interviewed so no additional consent would have been needed.’

Tana added: ‘It’s happened very naturally welcoming Adam into our family and he comes with this incredible bonus that’s his little boy George’
Caroline has been at the heart of a feud with the Ramsays, with saw the entire Peaty family – other than Adam’s sister Bethany – attend the wedding.
Adam has since come under fire from his working class family members, who have accused him of being seduced by the wealth and fame of the Ramsay family.
The Olympic swimmer made his allegiance clear in the Netflix series, which was released on Wednesday, as he gushed over his love for Gordon, but failed to mention his own family.
He told cameras: ‘I think when you are marrying someone you are also marrying into the family and for me Gordon is very fair, very respectful but also loves a good joke. We’re very similar.’
Meanwhile, Gordon began his speech by stating: ‘I couldn’t be happier to welcome Adam and George into the Ramsay family. Are you mad?
‘Holly is everything you want in an amazing woman and if this is just a little insight into how cool your lives are going to be forward on behalf of Tana and I and the entire Ramsay family we wish you all the best and we couldn’t be prouder.’
It was previously revealed how Caroline would still feature in the new series of Being Gordon Ramsay despite formally requesting to be edited out from the final cut
