“We at CB Hounslow and Abbots are sending both players well wishes and a speedy recovery.” And while responding to Addlestone, they also thanked the medic for her help.
However, a further post from Addlestone has now offered an update on the two players: “Update on both injured players.
“We are pleased to advise that both players were released from hospital last night after various scans and X-rays. Both players have been advised to rest up. Wishing both a speedy recovery.”
The Surrey Premier County Football League is down at Step 11 in the Non-League pyramid and feeds into the Combined Counties Football League.
Addlestone are currently hovering above the drop zone, 13 points clear of 13th placed Laleham.
CB Hounslow and Abbots, on the other hand, are pushing for promotion, sitting in the play-off spots. However, they are still a way off Wimbledon Casuals FC, who are sitting pretty at the top of the league, four points ahead of FC Battersea Ironsides.
