Man Utd academy trio signal with Jay-Z expertise company alongside Vinicius Junior

Three Manchester United academy stars have all signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation sports management agency as part of their ‘Class of 2026’

Manchester United academy trio Silva Mexes, Jaume Camacho and Camrom Mpofu have all penned deals with Jay-Z’s talent agency, Roc Nation. Established in 2013, the sports management firm represents some of football’s most prominent stars.

Vinicius Junior, Gabriel Martinelli and Yan Diomande all fall under Jay-Z’s agency umbrella. Beyond football, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, ASAP Rocky, DJ Khaled and Big Sean are amongst their roster. The sports management firm revealed its fresh ‘Class of 2026’, featuring rising football talent earmarked for promising futures. Mexes, Camacho and Mpofu form part of this group in their latest football venture.

Mexes is the son of former Cardiff City and Nottingham Forest striker Rob Earnshaw. The winger joined United in 2024 and has gained recognition for his blistering speed.

He recently recorded at t 11.1 seconds over 100 metres. Camacho, who transferred to United from Spain, has appeared for the Under-18s this campaign, making his bow for the side in December last year.

Mpofu rounds off the trio, with the striker catching the eye through his displays at academy standard since arriving from Reading. United are presently blessed with gifted youngsters throughout their academy, most notably JJ Gabriel.

The 15-year-old has bagged 18 goals in 19 Premier League U18s matches this season, adding two more in the FA Youth Cup. Gabriel participated in first-team training on Wednesday ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash against Aston Villa.

He’s presently unable to feature in the Premier League or for the Under-21s in Premier League 2 until the following campaign, as he was merely 14 when the season commenced. Nevertheless, Michael Carrick continues to incorporate him into the senior squad.

Centre-half Albert Mills, 18, was also seen in training on Wednesday having previously participated under Ruben Amorim.

The Norwich-born defender found the net in the FA Youth Cup victory at Oxford United last month and boasts three outings for the Under-21s.
