GOP Rep Says America Would Become ‘Unglued’ If Alien Files Get Released
Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) alleged that America would become “unglued” if the government released details about the alien briefings he’s been involved in.
Speaking with Newsmax’s Rob Finnerty on Wednesday, the GOP lawmaker said that the public would be “up at night worrying” if they knew what he knows about extraterrestrials.

“I’ve been briefed by just about every alphabet agency there is, and I’ll just tell you this, if they would release the things that I’ve seen, you would stay up at — you’d be up at night worrying about or — thinking about this stuff,” Burchett said.
The topic came up after Finnerty mentioned that former U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz claimed late last month that he was briefed about a secret breeding program between aliens and humans.
Burchett pointed to a debriefing he received two weeks ago as an example, telling Finnerty that it “would’ve set the Earth [on fire]” had it been released.

“We just need to disclose it all. I’m sick of it, you’re … I will just tell you this, I was briefed last week on an issue — or excuse me, two weeks ago — and it would’ve set the Earth on [fire] — this country would’ve come unglued, I think, if they would’ve heard all that I heard. They would demand answers. ”
He added, “Unfortunately, it keeps getting covered up … and the people that know are dying or disappearing.”

Burchett’s remarks came after President Donald Trump said in February that he would instruct the Pentagon and other agencies to release any government files related to “alien and extraterrestrial life.”
“I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
That same month, former President Barack Obama confirmed the existence of extraterrestrial life in an interview with podcaster Brian Tyler Cohen.

“They’re real,” Obama said. “But I haven’t seen them. They’re not being kept at Area 51. There’s no underground facility — unless there’s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States.”
Obama later clarified his comments after they quickly went viral.
He wrote in a Feb. 15 Instagram post that he saw “no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us.”
