Beloved UK magnificence chain returning to excessive road as six model new shops set to open

Bodycare is returning to the UK high street with six “studio” format stores in cities like Leeds and Sheffield, featuring live demos and digital screens

Beauty fans are celebrating after a high street staple confirmed a massive comeback with half a dozen new locations. Bodycare is officially heading back to the British high street following its rescue from administration in October 2025.

The budget-friendly retailer, which started life as a humble Lancashire market stall in the 1970s, has secured leases for six brand new sites to kickstart its revival. Shoppers in the Midlands and the North are the first in line for the relaunch.

The chain has confirmed it will be opening its doors at Merry Hill, Dudley, Derbion, Derby, The Moor, Sheffield, Highcross, Leicester, The Mall, Blackburn and St Johns, Leeds.

The prime spots were hand-picked because they were top performers before the brand faced financial struggles.

The returning shops are getting a makeover as the first 25 locations will debut the new “Bodycare Studio” format.

The concept is designed to get customers through the doors with live broadcast studios and giant feature screens.

There will also be dedicated “demonstration zones” where you can test out the latest products before you buy.

Newmark, acting as the sole adviser for the expansion, revealed that the goal is to create a space that encourages shoppers to keep coming back for more than just a bargain.

While six stores are leading the charge, the brand has its sights set on a larger empire.

Another 19 openings are pencilled in before the end of 2026, with a massive long-term target of 200 stores across the UK.

The brand’s new owners had originally hoped to reopen between 30 and 50 sites by early 2026.
