‘Naked burglar’ repeatedly broke into folks’s houses as they lay in mattress

A suspected naked burglar has been arrested after a month-long manhunt in Virginia, which ended with a drone search and a dramatic chase through the streets

A suspected nude burglar who allegedly left homeowners in a state of pure terror has finally been nicked following a bizarre month-long manhunt.

Cops have linked the suspect to a string of terrifying break-ins where he reportedly crept into properties in the buff. Detectives from the Sully Police District finally got their man during a crack of dawn stakeout in Centreville, Virginia, USA.

Officers glued to CCTV screens spotted a man strolling near Gatwick Square completely naked at around 4.45 am on Tuesday (April 14). Police, backed by a high-tech specialist drone unit, moved in at lightning speed to intercept the exhibitionist.

But the suspect wasn’t going down without a fight, sparking a foot pursuit as he tried to bolt from the scene.

The police then deployed another drone from the Real Time Crime Center to monitor his movements from above.

The man was eventually observed vaulting a fence into a neighbouring garden. Detectives subsequently obtained a warrant and arrested him.

He has been identified as 21-year-old Sederick Walker, from Centreville.

Police believe Walker is responsible for multiple incidents involving a naked intruder targeting homes.

He has been charged with burglary, two counts of breaking and entering to commit a misdemeanour, four counts of indecent exposure, two counts of trespassing, wearing a mask in public and obstruction of justice.

Walker is currently being held without bond at Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
