‘I attempted Tower’s AI-powered air fryer and it cooked my hen completely’

‘I found this the ideal size for my cooking needs, and the airfryer slotted very nicely into my kitchen setup and gave me enough space for frying multiple things at once’

I have been in DESPERATE need of an airfryer. My previous set up consisted of a microwavable oven that has been looking very old and sad in the corner of my kitchen. So when I was very kindly offered the chance to review Tower’s AirX Digital air fryer with AI technology – I leapt at the chance. Straight off the bat, the component is massive. It is, after all, 8 litres and I found this the ideal size for my cooking needs. The airfryer slotted very nicely into my kitchen setup and gave me enough space for frying multiple things at once and for big dinner party events when I needed a little more leeway. The AI function definitely intrigued me. This airfryer is the UK’s first ever with built in AI tech which supposedly analyses the temperature & volume of food to calculate the optimum cooking temperature. My first test of this was with a butter chicken dish that specified in the recipe to have a nice chargrill on the top of the chicken. At first I wasn’t entirely convinced by the promises of the AI component of this airfryer; yet, low and behold, my chicken came out looking and tasting perfect!

The touch screen gives the airfryer a luxe feel to it and has preset options such as fries, steak, fish, prawn or even cupcake. This makes meal times so much simpler, especially when you feel a bit groggy after a day’s work. But what’s even better, is that you also have the option to switch to manual mode so you can have full flexibility over temperature and cooking duration. Something I always dread after a meal is the clean up. But, this Tower air fryer made it feel extremely simple. It has a detachable basket and grill plate so the cleaning turnaround time felt like nothing. Ultimately, this airfryer is a great option to have in your kitchen. It isn’t the cheapest on the market; however, in comparison with others on the market at £99.99 – I’d say it’s a pretty good deal for what you are getting.
