Inside Disneyland’s secret membership beloved by celebs with £20k becoming a member of charge and permits booze
Disneyland is magic for young and old, but now we can lift the lid on a special exclusive only inner circle, available to Mickey Mouse and the rich and famous.

It is known as the most magical place in the world, but if you want to be a VIP it is going to cost you. Disneyland is magic for young and old, but now we can lift the lid on a special exclusive only inner circle, available only to Mickey Mouse and the rich and famous.
Behind the famous castle and busy streets is a top secret club which many had no idea even exists known as Club 33. It was originally an exclusive club in Disneyland California, but now has branches in Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland too.
But the door is not open to Club 33 to just anyone. You can only join if you are given a secret invite and have lots of cash to throw at it.
It’s even been reported that there is a waiting list of up to 10 years, which was reportedly closed in 2007 after it became so long, before reopening in 2012.
Celebs including the Kardashians, Tom Hanks and Elton John are all said to be members as well as a host of other A-listers, who make the most of VIP access to the much-loved parks.
Hidden inside the park in broad daylight, there is a blue door on 33 Orleans Street, which shows a discreet 33 address plate at the entrance, for those in the know.
It is said to boast plush private dining lounges and mega money antiques collected over the years, and is also the only place in the park that allows booze.
But that does not come cheap with initiation fees believed to range between $25,000 (£19,200) and $50,000 (£38,000) and is paid as well as an annual fee which will set fans back an eyewatering $30,000 (£23,000).
The membership does come with extra perks such as quiet times in the park, extra day passes for guests, private VIP tours and free hotel room upgrades.
For those with a membership who wants to spend the night, there’s the Disneyland Dream Suite, which sits above the next-door Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
The more specific details of the elusive club are scarce, mostly because members are told not to ever share the club’s secrets.
Florida-based Disney travel experts Simon and Susan Veness previously told the Telegraph : “The level of secrecy around Club 33 is quite startling, but it has been there since the club’s earliest days, and it continues to be a Disney parks anomaly today.
“For somewhere that is never slow to promote its rides and attractions, this ultra-expensive ‘insiders’ club’ is distinctly incongruous and out of step with the general pixie dust nature of the theme parks.”
However, some guests have shared a sneak peak inside the club. This week former Playboy star Holly Madison took to social media to post some snaps from the balcony of the club on her Instagram page, writing: “Club 33 Alice in Wonderland tea was divine.”
