Inside Megan Pickford’s life as beautiful England World Cup WAG dubbed new Coleen Rooney
Megan Pickford is carrying the baton for England WAGs with the wife of No.1 Jordan Pickford stealing the spotlight in the stands at the World Cup
Megan Pickford is single-handedly carrying England’s WAGs at the World Cup by stealing the limelight with her appearances in the stands.
The stunning wife of England and Everton No.1 Jordan Pickford has been regularly spotted in the crowd in North America cheering the Three Lions’ shot stopper and the team on during the tournament. Since first appearing at the 2018 World Cup, Megan has become one of the most popular England WAGs.
Spotted wearing a white minidress flaunting her tan whilst carrying a £6,000 Chanel Mini Kelly bag, Megan was the brightest spark of an incredibly drab draw against Ghana.

Megan watched on with fellow WAGs like Jude Bellingham’s Ashlyn Castro and Bukayo Saka’s fiancee Tolami Benson, and greeted Pickford with a kiss on the lips after he kept yet another international clean sheet.
The 30-year-old is set to be in attendance at the New York-New Jersey Stadium tonight when England take on Panama in the final game of Group L. The Three Lions have already secured qualification but must beat Panama by the same or a greater margin than Ghana against Croatia if the African team can cause an upset.
Pickford is set to keep his place in goal despite Thomas Tuchel having the opportunity to rotate the team against a far-weaker Panama team, but England still have a job to do to secure top spot.
Megan has been with Pickford since school and the couple have three children together – Arlo, seven, and daughters Ostara two, and 14-month-old Misty – and six years of marriage under their belt.
They tied the knot at a registry office in 2020 before throwing a lavish, official wedding ceremony in the Maldives in June 2022.
The family reside in Cheshire’s prestigious “Golden Triangle”, an affluent area hugely popular with Premier League footballers and their families.
In 2025, they snapped up a historic £5.7 million Georgian-style country estate. Built in 1860, the impressive property sits on 2.5 acres of land.
The grand manor house has a distinguished history and notably hosted Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, and King Charles III in the past.
The property features a grand entrance hall, curved staircases, a neoclassical portico, eight bedrooms, and an ornate indoor swimming pool. The couple previously resided in a contemporary, ultra-modern £2.1 million property close by, which they swapped for this more classic, charm-laden estate.
Megan first found fame at the World Cup in Russia when she was spotted in the stands wearing a £500,000 engagement ring and now boasts over £140,000 Instagram followers.
Her keen eye for fashion, reputation among fellow WAGs and childhood sweetheart tag has seen her compared to Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen.
It’s a good job Megan knows her style after she was forced to wear her son’s England shirt when her suitcase failed to arrive in America with her.
She posted the picture to Instagram, with the caption: “Arrived in America… my suitcase did not.
“Can I wear my 7-year-old’s shirt for the game tonight or not?” Despite the wardrobe mishap, fans still reckoned Megan looked stunning, as one exclaimed: “Gorgeous my girl.”
