Long-bearded paedo posing ‘excessive danger of great hurt’ to kids on the run in UK

Darren Inkpen was jailed and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for life in 2021 after admitting three sex attacks in the Hartlepool area which left his victim “shaking”

A paedophile who presents a “high risk of serious harm” to children is at large after failing to move to Leeds.

Darren Inkpen was imprisoned and required to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for life in 2021 after confessing to three sexual assaults in the Hartlepool area which left his victim “shaking”, as reported by Hartlepool Mail.

During his sentencing at Newcastle Crown Court, he had grumbled that his sentence might hinder his participation in miniature horse shows. The 56-year-old, originally from Woodview Road in Beeston, Leeds, was initially freed in November 2025 and was supposed to return to Yorkshire. He had been returned to jail after neglecting to register his address with the police last year.

He was once more discharged from prison in Kent in April – but has again failed to adhere to the rules and now the police are searching for him again. In addition to Yorkshire, Inkpen has ties with Kent and Sussex.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson stated: “Police are appealing for information to help locate Darren Inkpen who is wanted for failing to comply with the notification requirements of the Sex Offenders’ Register.”, reports Yorkshire Live.

“Inkpen, aged 56, was released from prison in Kent in April after being recalled to prison following a previous breach last year. He was due to relocate to the Leeds area.

“Since his release, he has failed to comply with the conditions of the Sex Offenders’ Register.

“Officers have conducted extensive arrest enquiries in order to try and locate Inkpen and are now appealing for the public’s help. He has connections to the Kent and Sussex areas.”
