Cruise passenger scrapes dry pores and skin off foot then scoffs pizza utilizing identical hand
WARNING, DISTRESSING CONTENT: A woman was filmed digging her fingernails into her dry-skinned foot in a dining area on board before using the same hand to eat pizza
A woman has been filmed scratching thick dry skin off the bottom of her foot before using the same hand to eat a slice of pizza. The stomach-churning act was carried out in front of diners on a Carnival Cruise.
The video, which has gone viral, showed the women digging into the bottom of her trotter as giant flakes of skin fell to the floor. The forceful scratching continues for at least 20 seconds before things get even darker.
The lady dusts off her fingers post pedicure to pick up a slice of pizza with the same hand. The casual nature of the transition from foot care to nutrition suggests it was not her first time.
After satisfying her appetite with pizza, the woman picks up her fork and – you guessed it – digs it into her hard looking heels.
Thankfully, the footage ends before we see what she did next with the fork.
Carnival Cruise Line have since issued a humorous statement in response to the viral video.
They said: “We can confirm that forks are intended for food, not foot care.
“Once we became aware of the situation, our team quickly addressed it with the guest and removed the utensil from service. While the video may be generating laughs and gasps online, cleanliness and hygiene are no joke to us.
“Our crew works hard every day to maintain high standards across our f̶e̶e̶t̶ fleet and to ensure all guests enjoy a safe, clean, and comfortable vacation.”
