A candidate in the Clacton by-election stood next to his bikini-clad sex worker girlfriend as he declared: “We are unashamedly a sex positive party.” Marcus White, the leader of Everyone is God, added: “We support free expression of whatever you are.”

He is one of 34 candidates confirmed for next month’s by-election, which was triggered by Nigel Farage’s resignation following scrutiny over his finances which sparked a parliamentary investigation.

In a recent campaign video filmed at Clacton pier, Mr White said: “Our party stands for many things, one of them is human expression. We believe that free expression of everything you are is really important. One of the big aspects of human expression sex.”

His partner Rosie Morrell donned a Union Jack bikini as she stood next to him during the clip, which was shared to social media. She aspires to be the first sex worker to be elected as an MP and stood in the 2024 General Election.

In the video, she says: “There’s two things I’m very passionate about. One, making sure the sex industry is safe for sex workers and people that use it, so that everyone is healthy and protected and that it is legally seen as a valuable career.

“Two, what does sex positive mean? It also means you feel proud of your sexual orientation, whatever that is. And if you’re proud of yourself sexually, you will be able to protect yourself, you’ll be grounded in your body and you’ll feel a sense of pride in who you are.”

She added: “Your body is the most precious gift you have on this earth. It’s the only real thing that you truly own. Whatever shape, whatever size, whatever skin colour you have, be proud of that.

“And this is why I’m standing here in my bikini because it’s a statement of being proud of your body, whoever you are. Just be proud of yourself in your skin and own it. And don’t be ashamed of that.”

The video had a mixed reaction online, with one person declaring: “Politics is officially a joke in the UK.” But one social media wag quipped: “Rather vote for these than Reform to be fair.”

Ms Morrell stood for election in South Dorset in 2014, while Mr White tried to be the member for West Dorset. They said their goal was to “completely restructure society from the ground up” and devise policies “that solve every problem in British politics”.

Sex is a core part of their policies and they believe it is the root of all psychology and can therefore solve every issue, their website states. They believe our current political system is “too superficial and does not go deep enough to get to the root” of our problems.

Their website adds: “Politics is not driven by politics, it is driven by humans, and humans are driven by their psychology, and at the root of psychology is sex. It is our psychology which drives all the decisions we make everyday.

“These decisions add up to create the world we live in and all the problems we have. It is what is inside of humans that is the root source of all our problems. We therefore must resolve human nature first if we are ever to resolve politics.”

Ms Morrell, a sex therapist who carries out work in person and online, said she joined her partner’s political party as she didn’t connect to any of the core values of other political parties.

She said she if she is ever elected, she plans to enter Parliament on her first day in a bikini and “raise eyebrows and get people talking”.

The couple previously told how they signed a contract when they first got together which governs every aspect of their relationship, with rules on chores, finances, intimacy and emotions.
