Lotto players could be in line for the biggest payday ever on UK shores – with a new whopping £411 million up for grabs. Winning the eye-watering amount would make the lucky winner even richer than the Oasis lads with Noel and Liam Gallagher said to be worth a reported £375 million.

They would also be much wealthier than the likes of celebs including film star Tom Holland, said to be worth £37 million, Lewis Capaldi at £35 million and Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury who are said to be worth a whopping £22.1 million.

UK players can now enter a whole new ballgame as the mega-popular Powerball finally arrived over here last month from the US. Powerball is the world’s biggest rolling jackpot game with eye-watering prizes up for grabs every week.

UK players need to buy their tickets by 11:55pm on Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays to be entered into the next draw. The draws then take place in the early hours of Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The draw set to take place tomorrow (Thursday August 6) is a massive £411M, with the draw marking the 40th consecutive rollover draw.

The longest jackpot run in Powerball history stands at 47 consecutive draws, achieved during the record-breaking run that culminated in the $1.817 billion jackpot won on Christmas Eve last year.

The $1.817 billion prize was won in Arkansas in the United States, but there have been a number of UK winners since Brits were able to play.

There have been 491,662 prizes won so far in the UK, say organisers – ranging from £8 to £70,195.50

There are 235,805 prizes worth £8 up for grabs. Match 2 is the lowest UK prize tier, and is only available on the UK game (£8 fixed prize is double the price of a £4 ticket).

Should the jackpot be won by a UK player, it would comfortably become the largest National Lottery win ever awarded in the UK, eclipsing the current record of £195M won by an anonymous ticket-holder on EuroMillions in 2022.

Andy Carter, Senior Winner’s Advisor at Allwyn, operator of the National Lottery, said: “The UK is only weeks into its Powerball journey and already players have the chance to play for an estimated £411 million.

“This is one of the biggest jackpots in Powerball history. This kind of win isn’t just life-changing, it’s potentially generation-changing.

“It could help a winner support their family for decades, fulfil lifelong ambitions, champion causes they care about and leave a lasting mark on their community. Get your tickets by 11.55pm on Wednesday 5 August to be in with a chance of winning this unbelievable prize.”
