Six arrested on suspicion of abducting two women who went lacking from Rugby for 3 days
Six individuals have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of two girls from Rugby.
The missing girls, aged 11 and 12, were discovered in Cornwall on Tuesday (August 11) after vanishing from Rugby on Saturday night. Warwickshire Police force has confirmed that early this morning (August 12), detectives apprehended two men, aged 62 and 25, and one woman, aged 56, from Tintagel, Cornwall, on suspicion of abduction.
A 42-year-old man from Falmouth was also taken into custody on suspicion of abduction. Later this morning, two women, aged 75 and 47, from Rugby were arrested on suspicion of abduction, reports Coventry Live.

All six are currently being held in custody where they are set to be questioned today. The force has stated that all six individuals are known to the two girls.
In a statement, Chief Superintendent Jon Belcher said: “After extensive investigations, our colleagues at Devon and Cornwall Police who were acting on our behalf found the girls safe and well yesterday.
“We have been investigating how these girls came to be in Cornwall, and we have progressed our enquiries today with these six arrests.
“The people who are currently in custody are all known to the girls so there was and is no wider threat to the community.
“Over the coming days, officers will be out and about in the community and in areas of interest, speaking to the community and conducting house-to-house enquiries.
“If you have any concerns, please talk with them.”
